HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS)

  • Responsible for administration of criminal, civil, and family courts and tribunals across England and Wales.

Delivering Insight Through Data

  • Supported the design and implementation of the early stages of a Kimball-style data warehouse using star schema modelling techniques.
  • Developed ETL processes using SSIS to extract data from operational case management systems (Oracle) into SQL Server reporting platforms.
  • Worked with large operational datasets spanning multiple courts, tribunals, and case management systems.
  • Implemented Power BI reports and dashboards to visualise operational trends and support data-driven decision making.
  • Contributed to the development of reporting solutions used to monitor performance across courts and tribunals.

Supporting Critical Reporting Functions

  • Maintained and enhanced a suite of Crystal Reports and SAP Business Objects reporting solutions.
  • Supported complex data feeds and reporting pipelines delivering information from operational systems into analytical platforms.
  • Assisted in the production of reporting packages relating to Asylum and Immigration cases for parliamentary and ministerial review.
  • Supported delivery of bespoke reporting used in Freedom of Information (FOI) responses and media enquiries.
